Hi there,
Well we have officially finished half the course. Teresa and I are really satisfied with the work you have produced so far. Don't slow down now! You need to apply everything you learned in the first 5 weeks to the work we will be doing from now to the end of the course.
- THE MAIN ASSIGNMENT FOR THIS WEEKEND IS TO WORK ON YOUR RESEARCH.
YOU SHOULD BE SURVEYING YOUR BOOKS AND ARTICLES AND MAPPING THE MAIN IDEAS.
IF YOU DECIDE TO WORK ON A SECTION, REMEMBER TO MAKE A DETAILED OUTLINE OF THAT SECTION. INCLUDE IN YOUR OUTLINE THE NAME OF AUTHOR(S).
BEFORE WRITING ANYTHING IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO SHOW IT TO US. IF YOU WANT AND YOU THINK YOU ARE READY TO WRITE, THEN SEND ME YOUR OUTLINE BY EMAIL. (I will send you back my comments as soon as possible.) Otherwise, bring your outline to class.
2. BLOGGING
Blogging helps make you more fluent in the language. It allows you to express your opinions on a variety of subjects. It also connects you to your classmates in a way that isn't always possible in the classroom. You learn more about each other. If this isn't enough, remember that the blogging project does count for 5% of the final mark. It is an easy 5% to get...so.......
half the marks will be given at the end of next week. So you still have time to catch up on some of the assignments you missed!
Blogging Assignment for this Weekend:
